The Dire Vanguard was established in order to provide a means to deal with the very real threats to Asmodae, both internally and externally.  It works in conjunction with the Shadow Court however it is truly unique in that it falls under military authority.  It is for all intents purposes a Special Military Task Force that has been assigned to deal with matters in a more direct method.  Once called into action there is no hesitation, second guessing or turning back. They are in fact the very last resort in dealing with matters that threaten the very livelihood, of Asmodians, both Mortal and Daeva like.  

There will not be parley or quarter given to those that have found themselves approached by the Dire Vanguard.  If you find yourself confronted by the members of this elite group things have gone beyond trying to talk matters out. Once the Dire Vanguard has been called all reasonable means of resolve have been used and it is now time to take action.  

The use of deadly force has been authorized.  Let it be known that each member of the task force will use the level of force needed to deal with their objective.  Not all cases will need to be handled in such a manner but the option to do so will always be weighed should the need arise.  It would be the hopes that those approached will do the sensible thing and relent so that matters can be dealt with in a more civilized manner.  Should that not be the case then the level of force needed will be escalated accordingly.
